Carpinteria 42, Santa Clara 7--Andre Pinedo’s two-yard touchdown run in the second quarter was the highlight for the Saints (1-4) at Carpinteria.
Pinedo gained 52 yards in 19 carries. Adrian Maciel completed eight of 14 for 112 yards but threw three interceptions, one of which led to a Carpinteria touchdown.
