Six Flags Close to Acquiring Texas Theme Park: Fiesta Texas, a music-oriented amusement park in San Antonio, has been for sale for more than a year. The park is owned by insurance company USAA, with a small percentage held by Nashville, Tenn.-based Gaylord Entertainment. Six Flags is controlled by Boston Ventures. The investment group bought a majority of the theme park operator earlier this year from media conglomerate Time Warner Inc., which retained a 49% stake. Sources said that one possibility for Six Flags is to lease the park initially with an option to buy it. Six Flags already owns two Texas theme parks, one outside of Dallas and another in Houston.
