A health food store that had to delay its opening after a construction crane crashed into the building is finally in business.
Two months after a crane swung out of control, breaking utility wires and taking a chunk out of the building’s roof, the Health Emporium opens today at 3347 E. Pacific Coast Highway in Corona del Mar.
Owners Torin Pavia and Seth Siegel will offer fruit shake toasts at 1 p.m. during a health fair co-sponsored by the Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce. Free food samples will be available, and a live jazz band will perform throughout the afternoon.
