La Canada 13, Blair 12--Kevin Standish tackled Blair quarterback Julian Spratling just shy of the goal line on a two-point conversion attempt with 18 seconds left that sealed La Canada’s victory at home.
Spratling scored on a nine-yard run to pull the Vikings (2-6, 1-2) within a point. On the conversion attempt, Spratling fumbled the ball, recovered it, and cut across the field only to be stopped by Standish.
Sam Paneno rushed for 126 yards and two touchdowns in 24 carries for the Spartans (5-3, 2-1).
