CoCensys Inc.: The Irvine biopharmaceutical company said Tuesday that it is collaborating with Warner-Lambert Co. and its Parke-Davis division to develop and market drugs to treat central nervous system disorders. Terms weren’t disclosed.
Under the first agreement, the companies will share technology and resources to develop a new class of neurological and psychiatric drugs, said Irvine-based CoCensys. In the second collaboration, CoCensys will promote Parke-Davis’ drug, Cognex, to U.S. neurologists for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.
Warner-Lambert and its Parke-Davis division are based in Morris Plains, N.J.
