SEASON AT A GLANCE: Jenkins, a fleet running back, has helped Hueneme to a 4-4 record, its best since 1987, by rushing for 1,402 yards and 17 touchdowns in 223 carries. Opponents know he will get the ball--the Vikings have passed only 62 times--but he has yet to be stopped. Jenkins is Hueneme’s leading receiver with 12 of the team’s 24 receptions.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Jenkins broke his school record by rushing for 381 yards in a 42-28 Channel League victory over San Marcos. Jenkins scored five touchdowns and two two-point conversions, including three touchdowns in the fourth quarter when the Vikings rallied to win.
