Consumer Prices Rise 6.6% in October: The year-over-year increase was the biggest in three years, the Commerce Ministry said, attributing the trend to floods that had driven up food prices, which make up 40% of the index. The CPI for September was 6.2% and for August, 6.1%. Parts of Thailand have been hit by the worst flooding in 40 years.
