Bawa Leads Spiders Past the Ice Dogs

DALY CITY, Calif. — Robin Bawa’s two goals and one assist led the San Francisco Spiders to their second consecutive victory over the Ice Dogs, 6-4, Wednesday night in the International Hockey League.
The victory moved the Spiders (22-24-7) within one point of third-place Los Angeles (24-19-6) in the Southwest Division.
Ladislav Karabin had a goal and one assist for the Ice Dogs.
The Spiders outshot the Ice Dogs 39-31 and capitalized on turnovers.
Bawa scored the first of his two goals in the first period to tie the score, 1-1.
