Irvine Sensors Corp.: The Costa Mesa manufacturer of infrared devices and high-density computer electronics said it lost $1.3 million, or 8 cents a share, for the first fiscal quarter ended Dec. 31, compared with a net loss of $678,200, or 5 cents a share, for the same quarter a year ago. The company said the loss was greater than anticipated because of the federal budget impasse. Revenue rose 63% to a record $2.6 million from $1.6 million.
