No Fiesta

After reading Bob Sipchen’s glowing report (“Life Is a Fiesta!” March 19, 1995), we decided to try the Festival Plaza resort at Rosarito, Mexico. Our family checked into two bungalows on Dec. 26, 1995. No heat. Peeling paint. Lights not working. Uncomfortable chairs. View of a utility yard next door. During the night the kids’ sofa bed collapsed. In the morning our car was covered with peeling paint from the garage ceiling. We moved to the Rosarito Beach Hotel and had a pleasant stay.
