Panel to Discuss Asian Americans in TV News

“TV News in the ‘90s: Boom or Bust for Asian Americans?” will be the subject of a panel discussion Friday at 7 p.m. at KNBC-TV Channel 4, Room 2364, 3000 W. Alameda Ave., Burbank.
Sponsored by the Los Angeles chapter of the Asian American Journalists Assn., the forum will be moderated by KNBC anchor Wendy Tokuda and feature Channel 4 reporters Gordon Tokumatsu and Ted Chen, KCAL-TV Channel 9 reporter Gay Yee and KTTV-TV Fox 11 weekend anchor Susan Hirasuna.
