World IN BRIEF : IRAQ : Biological Weapons Hidden, U.N. Says

The United Nations’ chief weapons inspector said Iraq may have up to 16 missiles armed with biological warheads and capable of being fired at Israel, Kuwait or Saudi Arabia. U.N. investigators believe the medium-range missiles probably are being stored on Iraqi trucks and shuttled between military installations to keep them out of sight, said Swedish Ambassador Rolf Ekeus, who chairs the U.N. Special Commission on Iraq. Baghdad has insisted it scrapped all its weapons of mass destruction.
