The Piranhas of the Arena Football League announced the signing of veteran kicker Ian Howfield. He scored 120 points, including 20 field goals, with the Las Vegas Sting last season. The Piranhas also signed wide receiver-defensive back Nuygen Pendleton and lineman Gerald Owens. Pendleton played at Cal State Fullerton and Owens at Florida State.
