Terri Snyder has become the first instructor to be honored by Cal State Fullerton students with an award created to recognize educators for their dedication.
The award carries the title “Outstanding Educator of the Year.”
Snyder, an American studies instructor, was chosen for the award by the university’s student government. Twenty-nine others had been nominated.
In addition to the Outstanding Educator honor, Snyder also has received a fellowship award, which will allow her to spend the next year writing a book about the role of gender and law in early American history.
