‘E.T.’ Video Planned: MCA Inc. is expected to unveil next week plans to re-release director Steven Spielberg’s 1982 film “E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial” on video. The film, one of the top-selling non-animated videos, remains Hollywood’s top-grossing film domestically with a box-office take of slightly less than $400 million. MCA has had a moratorium on the title since 1992. A major marketing promotion is expected to accompany the release.
