Record Results for Quality Systems

TUSTIN — Quality Systems Inc. posted record earnings for the fiscal year ended March 31 on a 39% increase in revenue.
The company, which develops and provides computer-based management systems for medical and dental group practices, reported that net income more than doubled to a record $2.3 million, or 48 cents a share, from $962,000, or 21 cents a share, for the prior year. Revenue increased to $16.7 million from $12 million. The company attributed the results to a 69% increase in sales of computer systems and upgrades, including software user licenses, and supplies.
For the fourth quarter, net income totaled $623,000, or 13 cents a share, 43% higher than the $437,000, or 10 cents a share, posted a year earlier. Revenue was up 29%, to $4.4 million from $3.4 million.
