Three Are Sought for Questioning in Crash

CYPRESS — Police are asking the public for assistance in their search for three vehicles that may have played a role in a Sunday morning car crash that killed a 62-year-old Long Beach man.
Police initially investigated the death of Paul Horwitz as a single-car accident, but new witness information suggests that a nearby collision may have caused Horwitz’s vehicle to crash into a block wall near Ball Road and Delano Lane.
Police are seeking the drivers of a pearl-colored Ford Explorer; a black, newer-model Chevy Camaro with heavily tinted windows and a loud, possibly modified, exhaust system; and a third vehicle described only as brown.
The drivers are considered witnesses and are being asked to step forward. Investigators are also asking any other witnesses to the 7:30 a.m. crash to call Investigator Steven Ramsey at (714) 229-6650.
