Boat Fest to Feature Schooners, Races

Boat enthusiasts may attend the third annual Classic Wooden Boat Festival this weekend at Dana Point Harbor.
The event, which runs from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Sunday, will feature a boat show and sailboat race.
Spectators will be able to walk around the Dana Wharf docks and see schooners built in the early part of this century. Other types of boats, such as sloops, yawls and a ketch will also be on display.
Tickets, available at Dana Wharf Sportfishing, are $5 to tour the boats and $20 to tour the boats and ride in the schooner sailboat race.
