Glaus, Jones Homer in Another U.S. Rout

Designated hitter Matt LeCroy had two home runs as the U.S. national team defeated Japan, 10-5, in Millington, Tenn.
Four players, including Troy Glaus of UCLA and Jacque Jones of USC, had home runs for the U.S. team, which totaled five. LeCroy’s homers were his seventh and eighth.
Glaus added a double along with his 10th homer. A.J. Hinch added a solo homer, his second, while Jones had three RBI on a single and his ninth homer.
The U.S. team, claiming its seventh straight victory, is 26-3 and Japan falls to 0-2.
Winning pitcher Seth Greisinger (6-0) struck out five, walked three, gave up seven hits and five runs in six innings. Jeff Weaver earned his first save. Takeo Kawamura (0-1) took the loss.
