In a final featuring two teams headed for the Olympics, top-seeded Holly McPeak and Nancy Reno defeated second-seeded Barbara Fontana Harris and Linda Hanley, 15-11, to win the Evian Women’s Pro Beach Volleyball Tour event at Chicago.
At Old Orchard Beach, Maine, Adam Johnson and Jose Loiola defeated Olympians Mike Dodd and Mike Whitmarsh, 15-10, to post their second consecutive tournament victory.
