Youth Camp Offers Softball Pointers

The fundamentals and finer points of softball will be the subject of an upcoming youth camp in Moorpark.
The softball camp, offered by Moorpark’s Community Services Department, will be held in two sessions, the first Aug. 5-8, the second Aug. 12-15. For three hours each morning, participants will work on their batting, fielding and pitching.
The camp, which will be held at Arroyo Vista Community Park, is open to players ages 7 to 14 and costs $65 for each weeklong session. For more information, call 531-9100.
