Missing Elderly Woman Found Safe

Authorities found a 74-year-old woman Friday night more than 12 hours after she was reported missing from a relative’s Thousand Oaks home.
Chun Myung Chung was found at Thousand Oaks High School about 11 p.m., more than five miles from where she was reported missing at 10:30 a.m. in the 700 block of Calle Arroyo in Lynn Ranch.
The Korean woman, who speaks no English and occasionally suffers from memory loss, was transported back to her family’s home by sheriff’s deputies.
Police and volunteers had scoured hillsides and city streets searching for the woman using helicopters, motorcycles, dogs and horses.
