LOS ALAMITOS — The city is seeking candidates for several positions on three city commissions.
One seat is vacant on the city’s Parks and Recreation Commission, which advises the City Council on matters related to open space, recreation and special programs. The panel meets on the first Wednesday of each month.
Two seats are open on the Los Alamitos Television Board. The seven-member panel, which administers the local cable access program, meets quarterly at the Los Alamitos Community Center.
The Personnel Appeals Commission also has two seats available. The five-member agency hears appeals on employee matters and meets as needed.
Candidates must be residents of the city and be able to attend required meetings.
Application forms are available in the city clerk’s office at City Hall, 3191 Katella Ave. The deadline for applications is Aug. 2.
