Community Center to Open With Festivities

The Brea Community Center will open Saturday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration from 1 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m.
The festivities will include music, door prizes, a fashion show and a hockey-puck shooting contest from 1 to 4 p.m. The celebration will continue at 6 p.m. with a barbecue sponsored by the Brea Lions Club, including live country and western music and line dancing.
Dinner tickets are $5 for families, $2 for individuals and $1 for children and seniors.
