JetHawk Streak at 3 After an 8-4 Victory

VISALIA — Doug Carroll scored the eventual winning run on a two-base error in the fifth inning as the JetHawks (20-23) won their third consecutive game, beating the Visalia Oaks, 8-4, Saturday night at Recreation Park.
James Clifford hit his 16th home run, a two-run shot in the seventh that gave the JetHawks a 7-4 lead.
Left-hander Trey Moore (4-4) pitched six innings and allowed four runs, three unearned. He struck out eight and walked three.
Jesus Marquez scored on a passed ball in the ninth inning to increase the lead to 8-4.
John Daniels pitched the final two innings to earn his seventh save.
Chris Dean had three hits and knocked in a run for the JetHawks.
In tonight’s game, the JetHawks’ Marino Santana (7-12) will face Gary Goldsmith (8-7).
