Man Dies in Topanga Car-Truck Crash

TOPANGA — A man identified only as a 40-year-old Latino died Saturday when his car collided head-on with a 40-foot truck, authorities said.
The truck’s driver and a passing bicyclist suffered minor injuries.
The crash occurred at 10:28 a.m. in the 1300 block of South Topanga Canyon Boulevard near Fernwood Street. The cause is under investigation, said California Highway Patrol Officer Ken Lane.
