Pacifica, Los Amigos and Rancho Alamitos are once again the class of the Garden Grove League. So any time two of the big three meet, it’s a big game. Pacifica has been more impressive with its balanced offensive attack. Both teams possess fine running backs in Verdell LeVeaux and Najja Kee, but the difference is at quarterback, where J.D. Stern is more dangerous and experienced than Javier Acevez, who has struggled in his first year. If Los Amigos is going to pull off the upset, it will have to make some big plays on defense to disrupt Pacifica’s ball-control offense.
