Barclays Merges Fund Management Units: The London-based financial company said it is combining the businesses into a San Francisco-based firm called Barclays Global Investors. The integration of BZW Barclays Global Investors and BZW Investment Management under one management and one name will unify the investment styles of the two, said Lindsay Tomlinson, joint chief executive of the merged group. Barclays Global will have $364 billion in funds under management.
