Kathy Knight’s Sept. 29 letter says that DreamWorks will be built on the Ballona Wetlands, when in fact that project is to be built 1 1/2 miles east of Lincoln Boulevard and will have no adverse impact on the wetlands, which are west of Lincoln. As for flyovers, helicopter flights between Culver City/Westchester and Glendale would have to go completely out of their way to be over the wetlands.
We would hope The Times would stop publishing these scare tactics that only serve to frighten the public and delay the restoration of our precious Ballona Wetlands.
