PALMDALE — A 20-year-old Palmdale man died near the intersection of Sierra and Angeles Forest highways when the motorcycle he was driving collided with a car making a U-turn in his lane, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Christopher Gann was killed instantly when he hit an Oldsmobile sedan that pulled off to the right shoulder before turning in front of him, Officer Garry Goldenberg said. The collision occurred Friday at 8:45 p.m.
Gann was wearing a helmet and the driver, who was not cited, was wearing a seat belt, Goldenberg said.
