Palmdale 44, Roosevelt 13--Shawn Perez and Dajon Wright each scored two touchdowns for ninth-ranked Palmdale, which limited visiting Roosevelt (2-5) to five yards rushing.
Perez scored on runs of 26 and three yards, finishing with 40 yards in six carries. Wright’s touchdowns came on a 64-yard run and a 40-yard pass from Jeremy Coleman after a 32-yard interception return by teammate Leroy Lacy.
Palmdale (6-1) put the game away when Coleman and Pat Opperman connected on a 63-yard scoring pass late in the second quarter. The referees initiated a running clock midway through the third quarter at the request of Roosevelt coaches and with the Falcons ahead, 44-7.
