Erin Misaki
SCHOOL: Hart
SPORT: Soccer
YEAR: Sophomore
SEASON AT A GLANCE: A quick, elusive player with skills to match her speed, Misaki teams in the central midfield with senior Laura Qualls to give the Indians (21-1-2) a potent tandem. Misaki is second to Qualls with 19 goals. “[Misaki] was the best player on the field today,” said Crescenta Valley Coach Judd Bogust, whose team lost to Hart Saturday in a playoff.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Misaki scored three goals Wednesday in a wild-card defeat of Palmdale. Saturday, she scored two goals and assisted on another as the Indians blew past Crescenta Valley, the Pacific League champion, in a first-round match.
