Three of the top schools in the county will be competing in a triangular meet at 3 p.m. Friday at Mission Viejo High. The Mission Viejo boys, ranked first in the county, will face Foothill and Santa Margarita. Look for the Diablos’ James Davison, Foothill’s James Thornton and Santa Margarita’s Philippe Demers to battle in the 200 freestyle. The 50 free also could be up for grabs between Demers, who has recorded the fastest time this season (20.91), and Mission Viejo’s Matt Burny.

Century League rivals Villa Park, ranked sixth in girls’ swimming, and Canyon, ranked eighth, will meet at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Villa Park.
