OCTA Picks Interim Successor to Oftelie

SANTA ANA — The Orange County Transportation Authority Board of Directors selected Lisa Mills as interim chief executive officer on Monday.
The board also officially accepted the resignation of Stan Oftelie, who is stepping down as CEO to run the Orange County Business Council.
Mills, now the OCTA’s assistant chief executive officer, has worked closely with board members and helped Oftelie manage the 1,400-worker agency. Mills is a former Santa Ana councilwoman.
The board will meet again May 12 to discuss the process for selecting a permanent CEO.
