Rockers Are Rolling, Win Eighth Straight

The Cleveland Rockers won their WNBA-record eighth game in a row, routing the Sacramento Monarchs, 72-51, behind Isabelle Fijalkowsi’s 22-point performance Saturday before 7,541 at Cleveland.
Eva Nemcova added 18 points for the Rockers (11-8). Ruthie Bolton-Holifield had 19 points for the Monarchs (5-13).
New York 78, Phoenix 70--Sophia Witherspoon scored 20 points and Rebecca Lobo had 18 and the Liberty (15-4) defeated Phoenix (8-9) before 14,660 at New York.
Utah 74, Houston 63--Elena Baranova scored eight of her 17 points in an early second-half burst and the Starzz (5-13) held Cynthia Cooper to 15 points to defeat the Comets (11-7) before 8,561 at Salt Lake City.
