City Approves Plan for 113 Homes, School

The City Council has approved an Irvine Co. plan to develop 205 acres of east Tustin with 113 homes, an intermediate school and a 7.5-acre equestrian center.
The project is bounded by Peters Canyon Road, Pioneer Way and Tustin Ranch Road, unincorporated county land and Township Drive.
The school would be at Tustin Ranch Road and Pioneer Way.
The council still needs to approve specific development plans for the single-family homes and the proposed equestrian center. The intermediate school would be built by the Tustin Unified School District.
