* Country music singer Naomi Judd will sign copies of her new cookbook, “Naomi’s Home Companion,” at 10:10 a.m. today between her appearances at services at the Crystal Cathedral, 13280 Chapman Ave., Garden Grove.

* Dale Furutani, author of “The Toyotomi Blades,” will speak and sign at 1 p.m. today at Coffee, Tea & Mystery, 13232 Springdale St., Westminster.

* Catherine Cowan, author of “My Life With the Wave,” will read at 2 p.m. today at Barnes & Noble, 26751 Aliso Creek Road, Aliso Viejo.

* Gary Kroeker, author of “Magi at Christmas,” will sign at 7 p.m. Friday at B. Dalton Booksellers, 2967 Michelson Drive, Irvine.

* James Blaylock, author of “All the Bells on Earth,” will sign at 11 a.m. Saturday at P.J.’s on the Plaza, 80 Plaza Square, Orange.

* Steve Simon, author of “Orange County Through an Artist’s Eye,” will sign at 2 p.m. Saturday at Barnes & Noble in Fashion Island, 953 Newport Center Drive, Newport Beach.
