The Huntington Beach Marina girls’ volleyball team lost the first game before overpowering top-ranked Santa Ana Mater Dei, 9-15, 15-9, 15-6, 15-7, to win the Southern Section Division I-A title at Long Beach State.
Senior outside hitter Lindsay Phillips had 20 kills and 20 digs to lead Marina.
