Santa Barbara 31, Glendale 16--Darrell Durham rushed for 306 yards and scored on runs of 84 and 77 yards in 30 carries, but the Vaqueros fell in a WSC Northern Division game at Santa Barbara.
Glendale’s Chris Cervantes, a Sylmar High graduate, completed 12 of 29 passes for 141 yards and had one pass intercepted.
Glendale trailed, 24-3, before Durham scored on the first play after Santa Barbara turned the ball over in the third quarter and and again on the first play after a punt in the fourth quarter.
Santa Barbara (6-4, 3-2), which ended the regular season with a three-game winning streak, scored on its first four possessions.
Anthony Ramos of Santa Barbara completed 20 of 29 passes for 264 yards and three touchdowns. Ramos completed his first nine passes for 79 yards and connected with Jason Stone on touchdowns of 80 and 15 yards. Stone finished six receptions for 125 yards.
