Man Held in Kidnapping, Molestation of Boy, 7

A suspect has been arrested in connection with the abduction of a 7-year-old boy near an elementary school, police said Thursday.
The boy was abducted in front of the 59th Street Elementary School Wednesday between 2:45 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. and molested in an abandoned house, said Los Angeles Police Det. Gina Rubalcava.
The suspect, a 39-year-old man whose identity was not released, was taken into custody Wednesday, according to Rubalcava.
