Joan T. Knight, 74; Navy Budget Analyst

Joan T. Knight of Ventura, a retired budget analyst at the Naval Construction Battalion Center, Port Hueneme, died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was 74.
Knight was born Jan. 11, 1923, in Lumby, British Columbia, and was a 71-year resident of Ventura County.
She worked at the Port Hueneme Navy base for 35 years, retiring in 1978.
Knight is survived by a son, Michael Knight of Oxnard; four grandchildren; and a half-sister, Carolyn Harkins.
In keeping with Knight’s wishes, no services will be held.
Memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Ted Mayr Funeral Home, Ventura.
