Moorpark 31, Kilpatrick 12--Quarterback Chad Willis threw three second-half touchdown passes to break open a close game at Moorpark (2-1).

Willis, who completed 20 of 24 passes for 181 yards, connected on scoring passes of 33 and 10 yards to Erris Green and added a five-yard touchdown toss to Byron Burnett. Green caught six passes for 94 yards.

Kilpatrick (1-2) kept it close in the first half, forcing four turnovers. Kio Simmons had two interceptions and Jon Blucher had an interception and recovered a fumble at the Kilpatrick nine.
