LMU Picks up Transfer in Barnett

Former Pierce College setter Keith Barnett has transferred to Loyola Marymount.
The 6-foot-4 Barnett, who will play this year for the Lions as a sophomore, is the younger brother of ex-Pepperdine player Kevin Barnett.
BASKETBALL
Milestone: North Hollywood girls’ Coach Rich Allen got his 250th career victory with the Huskies’ 52-28 win over Palmdale on Tuesday in the Thousand Oaks tournament.
“You know what that proves,” he said. “If you’re around long enough, you’ll get the wins.”
Now in his 15th season as coach, Allen’s teams are 250-72 overall.

Registration: The Woodland Hills Sunrise Little League is holding its spring registration today from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for boys and girls ages 5-15.
Registration will be at 6400 Winnetka Ave., on the northeast corner of Victory and Winnetka.
