College Appoints Acting Vice President

Glenn Roquemore has been appointed acting vice president of instruction at Irvine Valley College.
The appointment, made by the South Orange County Community College District Board of Trustees, is effective immediately.
Roquemore replaces Terry Burgess, who became president of Chabot College in Hayward on Feb. 23.
A geology professor at Irvine Valley College since 1992, Roquemore served last year as chairman of the School of Physical Sciences and Technologies.
In addition to teaching at Irvine Valley, he has taught at California State University campuses in Fresno and Long Beach; the University of Nevada, Reno; UC Irvine; and Santa Ana College.
