Hart 7, Bishop Montgomery 5--Justin Wiley was three for three with two RBIs for the victorious Indians in the Westside tournament game at Hart (1-0).
Camarillo 17, Beverly Hills 8--Jay Caligiuri was five for five with three RBIs for the victorious Scorpions (1-0) in a Westside tournament game at Camarillo.
Quartz Hill 4, Monroe 3--Brady Robbins scored on a failed run-down to break a 3-3 tie for Quartz Hill (1-0) in the sixth inning in the San Fernando tournament at Monroe.
Crespi 9, Burbank 8--Ron Lauer scored from third on a wild pitch by sophomore Jesse Perez in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Celts (1-0) the victory in a first-round El Segundo tournament game at Valley College.
Campbell Hall 7, Montclair Prep 0--Michael Frost (1-0) threw a four-hitter, struck out 11 and also had three hits and two runs batted in for Campbell Hall in a nonleague opener at West Los Angeles College.
Agoura 12, Muir 1--Michael Falco hit two three-run home runs and had two stolen bases for Agoura in a nonleague season opener at Agoura.
SOFTBALL
Calabasas 11, Campbell Hall 0--Sophomore Amy Rosson struck out 11 and pitched a perfect game, for the Coyotes (1-0) in a nonleague game called after five innings because of the 10-run rule.
Burroughs 6, Notre Dame 3--The host Indians rallied for five runs in the third inning in a nonleague opener.
Lindsey Curtis’ bases-loaded single scored the go-ahead run and two more runners scored on the play on right-fielder Maresa Meskew’s fielding error.
