Xerox Corp. today plans to introduce its first laser printer aimed at the home and small-office market, the latest salvo in the Stamford, Conn.-based company’s plan to grab market share from Palo Alto-based Hewlett-Packard Co. The Xerox DocuPrint P12 produces 12 pages a minute and has a suggested retail price of $699. It comes with a free three-year warranty that includes on-site repair, a toll-free hotline and a self-service kit, Xerox said.
