The Asian American community will be the subject of a town hall meeting tonight at Cal State Fullerton.
The meeting is the fourth forum in the American Dialogue series, created to highlight the issues within a multicultural society. Earlier forums have examined issues in Vietnamese, Latino and African American communities, and drawn audiences of 700 to 800.
Panelists at tonight’s program are Mary Anne Foo, director of the Orange County Asian and Pacific Islander Health Alliance; Ken Inouye, managing partner of Inouye, Shively, and Longtin; Stewart Kwoh, director of the Asian Pacific American Legal Center; Jessica Abiva, Cal State Fullerton Filipino American Student Assn.; and Dhyan Lal, deputy superintendent of the Lynwood Unified School District. The moderator will be Cal State Fullerton alumna and Garden Grove attorney Tina Pham.
Sponsored by the university and the League of Women Voters of Orange County, the forum starts at 7 p.m. in the Titan Student Union at Cal State Fullerton. Information: (714) 278-4854.
