DARE Donations Get Police Salute
Police Chief Randall Gaston recently honored four local businesses for about $50,000 in donations to the city’s anti-drug program in the schools.
Gaston thanked Corona Chevrolet, Car Stereo Connection, Pacific Auto Accessories and CPX for the donations, used to equip two DARE vehicles. The vehicles have custom paint and audiovisual equipment that make them popular at community events and school presentations, police said.
The Police Department provides the DARE program to 42 elementary schools in Anaheim.
