Women who would love to learn more about their health will find a treasure trove in the new Iris Cantor-UCLA Women’s Health Education and Resource Center.
The center, located on the UCLA campus, opened earlier this month. The facility is open to the public and features books, pamphlets, Internet access, software programs, videos, audiotapes and many other resources concerning women’s health. The center, funded by philanthropist Iris Cantor, will also offer lectures, classes and support groups.
The hours of operation are weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.; on Tuesdays, the center is open until 7 p.m. Telephone: (800) UCLA-MD1.
