U.S. Water Polo Team Takes On Australia

The U.S. senior men’s water polo team will play the Australian senior men’s team in an exhibition at 8 tonight at Belmont Plaza in Long Beach. The teams will meet again at 5 p.m. Saturday at Pepperdine and at 3 p.m. Sunday at Corona del Mar High.

The U.S. team is coming off a second-place finish at the French Open.

Nick Cappelletti, a Santa Margarita High middle linebacker and Times all-county first-team player, will play next season at Cal Lutheran, Coach Jim Hartigan said.

Teammate Andrew Holstein (5-10, 175), an outside linebacker, will attend San Diego.
